I won't digress about a certain other election so many years ago that was definitely rigged and stolen....

I always use a paper ballot so that there is no doubt who I voted for especially if there is a recount

It definitely lends credence to the whole idea of the election being rigged.

It is amazing, though, in my opinion how much flak Trump gets for saying that. After all, the Republican Party brass was trying to figure out how to deny him the nomination even going so far as to consider increasing the amount of delegates needed so that they could have the convention select someone else.

The Democrats have super delegates.

Soros is a bad hombre indeed

I read about an interview of Soros.  As a young man,  Soros accompanied a Nazi enforcer in his rounds to tyrannize and confiscate things from Jews.  When he was asked if this bothered him,  he said no,  but it taught him the meaning of power.  If oppressing Jews did not bother him,  then he is heartless,  and using power for evil purposes.

The last paragraph surprised me and I think its the billionaires behind every election candidate's success.

I hadn't heard of this particular election gossip, and it is pretty

interesting, although most voting machines are as Taps describes, paper ballots marked by individuals and tallied at the polling places - not via internet at all. Considering how much ordinary stuff gets hacked, I'm thinking most will keep tallying and counting the old fashioned way.  I never used to think any 3 politicians trusted any others to get into a conspiracy, but I'm taking less comfort in that assumption nowadays.

Not really worried about it all actually Naut. Too much here and in australia that interests me more.

In Kansas City, we vote the way you do in Canada.  After checking our identification, we are given a paper ballot and a dark pencil and pointed to tables where we sit down and do our thing.  Then we personally put it in the slot of the special locked box.

Well I vote by post Naut and I think I would not bother otherwise. One thing i suppose it really is not down to one person, they are the figurehead of the winning party. Hopefully.
