Re RPresta
I know it brings the first feeling of spring RP. Yes somethings appear sadder if one can relate to them, is that a wise saying?

A weakness for flowers is understandable imo..:)
Your poem is wonderfully written, C C T; has a real world flowery feel to it, without any wilting or drooping and without being overly sweet. Not an easy thing to pull off in poetry.

I just can't resist them, the bulbs I mean and it pleases Archie , but he is thinking of the sale of the flowers. The poem is a bit sad I suppose, I cannot remember why.Thank you.

Re:
You are very inefficient at times Kabu All you need to do is lay a square of wire netting over the planted bulbs. We are pretty squirrel-less here so good luck but plant them deeper.

Well, on the bright side, the flowers should be beautiful! I love to see the bulbs bloom. And your poem, it so tinged with sadness. It is a bit of a painful write but a nice read.

Perhaps you will be joyful when you see the tulips and anemomes
come spring. It's always good to see them nodding and dancing in a warm breeze after snow has finally melted away. I thught this new poem was pensive and a bit sad.
