No it does not tempt me Pat I never turn my mobile on, but one has to move with the times perhaps I'll carry my computer around with me. It only weighs 40 pounds I imagine.

Re: Adnohr

Apparently the Consumer Cellular stuff is for those of us who are either tech-challenged or phobic, and there's a printed manual that explains getting started. At the Target store they had a genuine genius nerd helping and explaining and he set it up, plugged in all the code numbers, etc. and gave me a printout with the details including the new phone #. If you've got a Target within driving distance, it couldn't hurt to check with them.

Re:Naut

It's not an Apple, it's a Motorola... Much less expensive. I think Siri is Google-based, but she never told me much about her job.

I need a new cellular, as per my children. Not looking forward to having to master all new apps again. You've stirred my curiosity - what does Siri say when you ask her what color her eyes are? I'm spoiled - my Japanese DIL cooks the most delicious cashew chicken, and her Sesame beef is delicious!! All I have to do is mention that I am thinking of it and voilà!!! The meal is in my hands pronto!

You are brave with the phone. I am not going to even try. I adore good Chinese one of the best places I ever ate it was in San Francisco in China town off the main drag. it was to die for. Like French cuisine but Chinese was the best way to describe it.

Welcome to the 21st century! And since you're chatting with Siri I even know you've got an i-phone by Apple - I've got Cortana to spend time with, and I've even got a Robin, LOL...
