I know it's an old one now, but...

better late than never.

I really liked this one. There's something good vs evil in this poem.

And at the same time, I thought:

We're human beings, standing in the middle of The Lord and Satan.

It is the satirical style and the flow that is quite endearing.

Sorry, I hope my previous comment about the Toronto Blue Jays did not jinx your winning and staying in the game.

Way to go Nautikos. One knows from growing up in the '60's just how effective poetry and music is. This needs to be submitted to a wider audience or sent to a musician to add music to it.

How fun.  Son #1 had just stopped in to see if I'd heard anything from my Canada friend whose team was The Blue Jays as he keeps up with them and wanted to wish you gung ho and whoopty do and all that jazz.  So I read him your poem and then we looked up dhimmi as neither of us was familiar with it.  Knowing what that meant did add a lot to the poem.

Nautikos

Sometimes one just can't help what pops into one's mind, and musicality just enhances that! What can I say? :)
