Remember even the Watch that is found (William Paley) points not to an accidental arrangement of perfectly shaped parts, that create a functional piece, MUST imply a watchmaker. Plus the fine-tuning argument of the Universe, that if even earth was a single cm or icnh closer to the sun, life would be impossible here, indicate no mere accident, but a Designer. We could enjoy Coney Island rides, without acknowledging the inventor/s behind the rides, but there is a c/Creator, all the same. shalom

TAPS and Naut
TAPS that was an awesome vintage video from a TV show I never knew about, but I think it was making fun of books such as the Bible, not affirming them.
Naut, I am currently reading a book that alters, or rather corrects, our view of reality concerning alien life, one of your primary subjects here. It is titled "Secret Journey to Planet Serpo", and it blows the lid off of secret files of government dealings with aliens. In 1965, there were 12 Americans who departed Earth and traveled to an alien planet, hosted by the residents of that planet. After 13 years living on that planet, only 7 of them returned to tell the tale. It is very plausible, when combined with other research I have done concerning the history of Earth and the rest of the universe. I think this book contains more truth than fiction, and I suggest that you read it. It is available at Amazon and many other places.

It's in The Book! All science & scientific principles are "in The Book" if one knows how to find them and allows the Spirit of God to lead the way. Of course, it is also a blast to study science your way too.

I certainly agree that mathmatically it seems absurd to think that we would be the only consciousness existing anywhere! Interesting post, this is. Thank you.

I would have liked to have learned more about human consciousness back when I was in school.

I am really happy to be learning a little from your science posts...I won't call them tutorials or lectures because i agree that would put pressure on you to upgrade them which would probably equal me losing any idea of what you are saying.
After a deal of thought and meditation I find that I agree with you that we have been here in some way or form since the beginning of time and always will be. (this still leaves my human span of years as very small and insignificant to me) but I see that for someone without Faith GOD = good orderly direction (of the Universe) and for me GOD = the maker of the Universe but filled with love for all of creation that was, is, and shall be!
