This so reminds me of my Sister Barbara who rests besides a stream amongst the dogwoods and forest growth of Missouri's Ozarks.

Very lovely, heartfelt and touching...

That knowledge of a better place and meeting again slowly but surely pulls those who are grieving through their darkest hours.

parting really hurts. We grieve before we die for leaving hurts more than physical pain ...until pain becomes all there is...and to be left behind is the most painful. How beautiful is your writing. I love the thought of my ashes quietly somewhere amongst the falling leaves.

It's simple & profound: Jesus is the cure for R losses, each longing, every

heart break/betrayal. Jesus alone can RESTORE, RESURRECT, REGAIN EDEN for each of us, and He did at the Cross. When we remember & imbibe this completed work of Christ, we can rise from any "defeat." Your poem reminded me of all these Truths.
