Eventually we build houses on the landfills, but that is when most have forgotten they were there. Well once I wanted to be posh and could not afford a typewriter. I bought a printing outfit one had to put rubber letters in a slot the complete word was then stamped onto a piece of paper. I think your machines might beat that record.

Lack of time, lack of energy, lack of thoughts - somedays just goes past in a whirl but you managed quite a poem there in spite of the lethargy. The ladies who normally wear their work kits just get on with their jobs at hand CC - a little smile maybe but not too much.

When one is tired or short in time it is difficult to get it all done. I am not good about time. Have very little innate sense of a built-in clock. Must wear a watch and remember to consult it. lol. Brick-a-brack is going away. So true.

Your loyal readers have it it better than I: coincidentally, Kabu/TAPs/FSI
and others are recalling past farms, and dinners after Church of yore ... and I am selling antique typewriters. This is good; although I had mixed feelings about you being deserted by your Muse now & then. Glad u persevered to bring this poem.
I recall England was built as a nation of shopkeepers; a laudable profession, and recycles what in other countries goes to landfill (but fast running out of landfills).

I used to time myself writing blogs, but now I am fairly fast at it, so I do not bother anymore. At this point in time, I am as fast as I am going to get.

I never time how long it takes me to write anything, because it always takes me a long, long time....even to just write comments to other writers. I often wonder where the time went.
