I guess sometimes it is just better to leave those memories in the closet of ones heart, this is a very honest and touching poem that I am sure many can relate to, thanks for sharing, may God bless your loving heart

Yes sometimes love hurts and wounds but it does leave an imprint and take another course, hopefully. Lovely poetry from you TAPS as always

Very painful but beautiful feelings expressing painful memories.
TAPS - to answer your questions about my bits of wisdom. I haven't published nothing yet as I am not done yet. I have finished two collections - When Wisdom Stood I & II
Each is a collection of 777 pieces of wisdom. Now I am working on When Wisdom Stood III and should take me at least one year to finish. I am planning to rearrange my books based on subjects which may attract more readers, with seven categories of Proverbs - 1) Motivational & Inspirational, 2) Spiritual, 3) Love & Romance, 4) 5) Brainstorm, 6) Political, Economic, 7) Managment Strategies. As you see it's a long project and each category should have at least 400 to 450 proverbs to make a book. Wish me luck because I need it.

I guess I was lucky because I gave up and walked away. Couldn't have been, wasn't much in love obviously.
