Re: UKUSA
Probably not a lot only that which we do not mention. I like the baby Black Beauty. Thank you for your more than usual interesting replies.

Re: Pat
No and some don't want to look after the old fellow in his dotage. I have seen some kick the one they thought of as the housekeeper out as soon as poor old Dad kicked the bucket.

Children expect. Any time their expectations aren't met, if the party they
looked forward to wasn't as much fun as they expected it to be, if marriage isn't the romantic escape from parental regulation they dreamed of, etc., they react badly. They don't expect their stepmother, the widow-lady who upset their apple-cart, to take away dad's old outdated stuff they didn't even want until she came along.

Re: Kabu
Kabu A lady I knew was wdowed she married a man, they divorced and she had to sell the house and give him half the cash. That did not seem fair, but it just shows how mean
folk can be. .

At least he knew where he stood RP. The last chimney sweep I had pushed too many brushes up the chimney and the brush in the end touched the lawn. Very embarrassing he said to me.

Great poem. So real. At least to me. As to the property - well, it's different for each person.

The courts will probably see this as a common law marriage and grant her the house.
