I revisted.Didn't know which one to comment on: Loved "Lime Tree" & my own

memories of our gardens/farm ... and great fun with the young ones eating fresh lime off the trees with salt! So u are obsessed with "finding beauty"? And you begin with Lime? There must be a connection ...anyways just saying hi (with Henna tatoos):

chained beauty ... linked to a reckless hour: IT HAPPENS WHERE JESUS is out

of the (any?) equation. I enjoyed this poem and its messages (STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS, perhaps) but classic CCT. You are a born OBSERVER/writer. shalom, shalom (wholeness/completeness) and amen

Re RPresta

Thank you RP. as I told Kent these were early poems. I always made them up in my head and remembered them, so there were not long.

The sweet scent of limes and its tangy taste is truly something to savor. I loved how you said that you try welcome sleep with nay a thought to attain a sublime sleep - something quite hard to do especially when you have lots going on.

I love these--very special.  You made me want a lime tree in my yard--something I've never seen.  I've picked lemons, tangerines, and grapefruit fresh from the tree, ripe and tangy, dripping with juices.  But I've never seen a lime tree with its limes.

Very dreamy there...Yesterday can feel so recent, and other times so long ago.

I also had to re-read the poem. So descriptive, so many thoughts, yet they coordinate, melding into a core of reason. Scent can do that, take us to a place that used to be... Lovely poem.

wow, all three of these are beautiful, I have really been touched, so many great lines, I am going to read them again, I especially loved the ending of the last one, but was really overwhelmed with all three, thanks for sharing, may God bless
