Our trees have hardly changed, a little color here or there. I guess the weather has not been conducive for colorful fall imagery.

Sorry to read about the accident your niece met with and the irresponsible behavior of the driver, very few people have the courage to take responsibility for doing something wrong. The tree looks resplendent.Elections have been turned into a circus and you pay with your vote :(

How lovely it is - pretty as a picture when they turn colour. Don't let the politics get you down Taps, just keep with the praying and I'm sure there is a light at the end of the tunnel in any of the troubling issues. And am so sorry about your niece, am glad she was not terribly hurt.

So very sorry to hear about your neice getting hit, and then the driver fleeing. Not a good thing. Thank goodness it wasn't worse, bad as it was. On the bright side, and I do mean bright, the tree is beautiful. Such a treat to see. Thank you for sharing the picture.

That tree is gorgeous! But I'm so sorry about your niece getting hit, and by a completely irresponsible driver at that. (It also brings back memories of the day I was hit by a truck - you may recall the series that resulted from that, LOL). And I fervently hope she'll be alright, without any lasting injuries...And I don't blame you for being affected by that disgusting election circus - I switch channels, but one can't avoid it entirely even in this country...

But, there's a wonderful world of color love.

I'm happy to hear your niece survived this horrible ordeal and sorry for the seemingly lack of help from the police department.

On the political front, we are about to vote for the 45th President of the US and much has not changed: the poor are ever so poor, the public schools are in horrendous conditions, unemployment is still a serious crisis, wages are still disproportionately paid according to gender and the list grows longer... Our strongest recourse is our ability to Hope in Humanity for the greater good and for those of Us that believe in the Power of Prayer to kneel continually!

How hoeeible and the police didn't want to do the paper work. it stinks. Wonder if the local paper would be interested.

Poor girlie and what a pig had a look and drove off.

As for the political news, well I think most of it is hyped up by the media They go over and over and over everything until one feels sick. The list they send you...my idea would be to ritually burn it, don't read it, and sing a hymmn of praise as the contents ascend to heaven.

It was so mean, of course we don't know the drivers history, Probably better not knowing. Your tree is superb well I hope it will be, that was such a good photo.

Sorry your niece was hit - and that the guy was an irresponsible jerk.

Bikers scare me anytime they are close to traffic lanes - I always fear they could lose their balance or swerve at the last second and I wouldn't have time to react. I hope she's ok and can get a new bike quickly if that's what she wants to do.
