so beautiful Taps, just beautiful, so many great lines like "bleaching white the skeleton of dreams"
I would love to hear Leonard sing it, he was always one of my favorites and like you said can still sing, telling my age, but Bob Dylan was my favorite back in the day, he's still going strong too I hear, but I always thought of Leonard as Canada's Bob Dylan, hope you have a great and blessed day, may God bless

Cohen's voice would be perfect for your poem. The reader cannot help but feel a twinge of sadness for that love that did not work out.
