TAPS

Scamming has become so pervasive, it's just about the 'normal' way of doing business these days! And I'm sure you couldn't resist beguiling eyes with six kids...

Re:

You are probably right, but it hurts to think of hungry children.

Offer the woman in the car park some groceries and watch her run.

Well I feel you are very kind hearted, TAPS so I think it's the woman

with six kids.. Such a shame the number of scammers out there targeting older folks. My Dear Mother has received the tax call several times and she does as instructed; (by the local police) simply hangs up but it does get really annoying. I just read that seventy people have been arrested in Mumbai for the tax fraud operation so hopefully the calls will stop.

Very fitting for these times.

Well I guess the woman in the car park doesn't want a direct debit. So like me you would probably give her a little.

I hate con artists. Detest them, because of course I've been dumb

enough to fall for sob stories a time or two.  These days when they call and insist I could sent them "a very minimal" $15 for (fill in the blank) they can't believe it when I say I've already donated all I can afford, and no. Nor do they realize I took note of their number on the caller ID, and next time I won't pick up.

I would guess the woman in the parking lot, by sheer use of deductive reasoning! Or perhaps, none of them! Scammers, there ought to be a law...
