Unequalled in describing the real agony of having to face that it is over. Somehow without really knowing how come, it is over for him and I like the way you mention your shrinking heart. I think anyone who has faced this pain will really appreciate your words . It rings do true.

I really got into this one - read through it twice to get all the nuances.

Well I am glad you did not slide into a black hole Taps. There are plenty around, although your gentleman would probably have saved you. An honest poem which gives away or provides your inner strength, you know which.

Black holes in the galaxies, and black hearts... Never a good combo! But a great poem, TAPS!

Love of galactic dimensions! Mind you, there lurks a black hole at the heart of many galaxies...
