Re: Re: Re: CCT
Thank you RP. It was quite interesting, I have noticed traits in my siblings one was my father could not bear to look at a thorn hedge . My brother Arthur has the same problem.Of course Physical likeness is always apparent. Perhaps parents do not often reveal what maybe strange emotions to their offspring or very often not to a partner. I am glad that you feel better, I can imagine.

Re:
No times change K.can I call you that Kabu seems so cold. In those days boys went bird nesting and no one said anything about that. Or shooting at little birds with air rifles. Or letting dogs roam the streets. Hare coursing, I expect could think of dozens of things worse than a bit of gambling for ha'pence. Bear dancing.

Thank you RP , I will read this perhaps tomorrow, it does take a time doing all these comments, but perhaps I can print it off and study the facts. I hope your headache is better, I have never had one, but believe me one gets other things.

Yes but those Bulls were a bit mad Taps. I never liked walking past a field with one in it unless there were cows as well. The old Bull was too sleepy then.

Sometimes, LORD humorously, finds a way to send us to Church early!

Question about "scarpered" ? Did you mean "Scampered"?
I may have a moment to consult Wiley's dictionary, or Bill's, before heading out for an appointment. Thanks for the smiles ... let those boyhood scarpes/SCRAPES roll brother! amen and shalom, shalom. We love you, CCT

Too bad his pants tore but it was an illegal game they were playing as kids. Bought back some memories of mine during my childhood. We played a lot of cards too. Interesting poem CC

When I was a kid, I always liked the rough and tough world of the boys. It would have been fun to have a part in all of that.
