You precious thing. You set my smiles in place so that I can feel good about everything starting with myself. ...here Iam giving you big hugs and a kiss on each cheek.

This is a fine poem RP, a pleasure to read, I felt a bit sad I thought you had crashed out at the end of the month.

Presta dear, you are on poetic fire, 'blazing souls'. Sharing you poems encouraged by your family, must have made you so much more the happier.

Truth is: I am not any good, but my Jesus -- he makes me look wonderful

I just want to honor Him and His Word/ You and people like Kabu make it easy because you love, love, love. Great that u write, so we can get the love too. Jesus is working in this world, in the tweets, in the streets, in the 'net machines, and across mountains and ravines. I love Thee Lord Jesus; heal you sons and daughters. amen

Re: UKUSA

I am so deeply overwhelmed that I cried! Thank you very much. I am so glad you enjoy these poems, and they are of some use to you. Your compliment is so generous; I am extremely humbled, as there are many, many very fine poets here on Blogit, and elsewhere. I should like to thank family who strongly encouraged me to join Blogit, for I had been fearful for years to post any of my poems or writings. It means a lot to hear/read your comment.

Your poem did not wander off - I caught MYSELF from linking it too closely

with St. Francis - common fault of interpreters/critics/ You know I enjoy your poems. They wowed me the first day on Blogit, and I have benefited from insorporating poetry in my posts. So thank U. Don't be too modest: you are Lady Poetess here.

Re: UKUSA

Beautiful picture. I enjoy reading about St. Francis of Assisi. Thank you so much for that. Yes, I do tender to wander off in different directions. Hope you enjoyed the poem.

Re: pendorin

Thank you for stopping in and commenting! Yes, that is one way to look at that phrase. Another way to think of the colors in the will to live, meaning; the things that shape us and contribute to our desires to continue with our passions, and our zest for living; ultimately our will to live. That spark! The fire in our souls, so to speak...

Reminding me of St. Francis of Assisi: Lord make me an Instrument of Thy

Peace!

Then your originality soared in several directions. Butterflies are always a winner ... but a little bird said I ought to thank you thus:

Of life's Fire Blazing in our Souls... This stands out the strongest b/c I see this comparative to life experiences; although, it may mean something completely different!
