your love poem series are splendid.

I knew a lady ...now gone to greener pastures who kept her man waiting. When she arrived for lunch there he was an anxious look on his face.

"I'm only a half hour late" she said.

" And a day" he replied.

Another excellent poem! You'vr beautifully traced the changes in your reaction to his lateness, from simple impatience through anger and finally fear, all resolved in the end through love...

Very nice Taps ,it is not often that a lady will admit to such feelings. I suppose she might feel she would be compromised.
