your love poem series are splendid.
I knew a lady ...now gone to greener pastures who kept her man waiting. When she arrived for lunch there he was an anxious look on his face.
"I'm only a half hour late" she said.
" And a day" he replied.

Another excellent poem! You'vr beautifully traced the changes in your reaction to his lateness, from simple impatience through anger and finally fear, all resolved in the end through love...
