Glad yhou think of the homeless, too. Please pray for world leaders: they

MUST do more for peaceful solutions. Weall MUST think many times before selling weapons to folks who create new waves of refugees. These days REFUGEES are reaching all shores .. not styaing on the continent of their discontent/torture/war. Yet we cling to our Living WORD, Jesus, song ad poetry (& pets for some!) Amen and shalom, shalom

Me too! I caught myself doing it today, feeling disdain.

Re: Nautikos

I have read it now, dear Naut! I am so very deeply sorry. May the tides of time bring that person home, if possible, and health and a modicum of happiness be restored to that person.

RP

This poem struck the same chords that sounded when I read TAPS' series, which affected me deeply. As you may know if you read my comment to her last post in that series...

Re: WileyJohn

No, Wiley, I'm not, and I know that you and Kabu are not, either. Thank you for that.

Re: Kabu

Yes, there is a broad umbrella here that this poem encompasses. So glad you liked it, and I know many do nice things for others while flying under the radar, so to speak, and I'll bet you and Wiley are two of them!

Thank's Bill, it's something we learn little by little, I think.

some of us quietly do little things that might help but it is difficult, so many problems placed under one umbrella. I feel people come to skid row by many roads.

I love the way you have written this and it is always good to be reminded, not just at Christmas.

At least it seems here that you recognize the usual the usual first response of most folk.

It is of course harder to make little sacrifices. May not be what you are saying. Perhaps I am out of kilter this time.

Excellent verse; I glean from it the wisdom of positive thinking...

There are ways to transform sadness about heartbreaking circumstances into actions that will hopefully help. Negativity without any effort at changing things, other than just droning on, is meaninglessly bleak. I love this poem, RPresta!

The ending with a 'again' is a flourish of the poetic art. It makes for the continuity, which is perhaps, unstoppable. Well done, dear Presta the poetess.
