Wonderful poem, CC!
Heavy whipping cream with sugar, sometimes a pinch of Saigon cinnamon - heavenly! I do love perfectly ripened peaches; used to have a peach tree in my backyard but a storm and probably not knowing how to properly care for it damaged it beyond saving. I did get about 6 years of delicious fruit though; an every other year harvest; was fun while it lasted..:)

I myself prefer grapes more than peaches. For me, peaches are okay. I can eat them, but there are many other fruits I would choose before them...I did like Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach.
The poem has a nice whimiscal quality to it.

Well you may not have noticed Naut, but there is the beginning of a world shortage of milk. Thankfully the farmers here will get an inrease in price soon, so many small producers have given up in depair.

I hated that stuff out of a can--never have liked eating air! But the first time I had the real thing, heavy cream whipped up with a dash of sugar in it... wow!

actually love, the peaches here are picked hard and they have no taste. When I get to Australia though the Mongo is what I dive for and can't get enough of.
