Nowadays, I would say most players are fine playing indoor. Back when I was growing up, kids would play a different sport every season. Nowadays, they play a sport all year long. In places that have winter, indoor is a way to keep on playing soccer or FUTSAL, which is an outdoor-indoor hybrid.
I have heard about soccer players having issue with fake grass. I am not sure what that issue is, although I believe indoor has lessened that. I do know that there are beliefs that synthetic grass causes cancer.

Maybe you can tell me - why do soccer stars not want to play indoors or on fake grass? Does it affect their movements?
