Trivium - a good word taught in the Lyceum?

With tid bits of documents and data we grow

We live lives akin to that Victorian novel or so

Where every detail from long ago

Is part of destiny's mysterious flow

So the more you know, the more you grow

That novel like the Dickens, or poems like that Dickinson so

Like my Emily! Yes, Ma'am: go-Girl-Go!

I concur Taps; a good place to grow than exercise knowledge... the Dictionary!

Yes, I agree and what a great way of putting it TAPS. Very well said and its what every writer who aspires to be acknowledged as one should know.

Thank you TAPS for your comment and Its sad that you cannot indulge in a glass of wine every now and then because of your medication but at least you experienced drinking them at some stage.

Be there when they're there love. I know a man that closed the door of the lodge because "No, we're having a function here," he said.

Trivia is fun, but lots of the new slang and info is not known to me.

I am rather addicted to trivia at times. Well ggogle helps me to find all sorts of interesting bits of this and that. I love history so I like to look something up from several perspectives actually. Like the Church or an early historic recording against something more modern. I find the period of the second WW is being altered gradually. a word here and there, a slightly different slant can turn thinking to quite a different viewpoint.

Re: CCT

LOL.  Son #1 feeds me trivia every single day.  First he asks it as a question.  If I don't know to suit him, he makes me look it up.
