Thanks, I will remember that! There aren't any old scaffold planks around - they guard them like gold! And as for builders...don't know any!

Make friends with a builder old scaffold planks are ideal if you just want flowers. Not so good for veggies, I am always careful of contamination .

Re: Re: Re: Rpresta
What most do here RP is have raised gardens simple planks formed into the desired shape and then filled with earth. I do it sometimes,but I have a friend landscape gardener etc. He brings me loam, older folk turn their lawns into gravel patches it saves work but, looks horrible

Re: Re: Rpresta
About the garden, the entire yard would need to be dug, repiped, reshaped... Perhaps little by little.

Re: Rpresta
Yes RP my brother is a bit grumpy at times, but he is not mean and he has promised to build me a super model. This is in case he cannot do it in the future as his hand shakes a bit and the little plugs and sockets are so tightly fixed. I know a lot of the stuff I write is not poetry, but one cannot feel moody all the time. Are you really going to make an old fashioned garden, if you are it would be wise to get the ground dug over before winter. I don't know what gardeners charge around your way, sadly nothing is cheap these days.

Take no notice try a go back it is quite simple, one goes back to when it worked OK. A lot of scams are about. Never open them if possible,it shows someone has a computer`and more will follow.

Re: Kabu
Yes well of course one does not fuse and wire everything together one buys parts that one wishes obviously to make a superior one than a one bought just to use normally;
If one wishes better graphics one can spend a bomb on better cards. One can buy solid state drives, much superior to the hard drive. Memory can be increased many times and having had two power supplies blow, one pays for the best. It would be too expensive to put such equipment in a normal computer. Mind it does take skill to wire and put everything together it isn't meccano. Of course your grandson could not have done it without your genes.

my computer yesterday had a message that something had gone wrong and as soon as it was fixed it would restart. Well it never restarted and then I start thinking maybe there is a hacker or something. You hear all about hackers all the time but nothing to hack me for

How nice Arthur fixed you up with a computer that works well. And he must not understand that it is not everyone who can get excited about the building of one. I personally am not 'wired' that way, pardon the pun. I am very pleased if someone else does that sort of work when it is needed. I thought your poem was cute and original, and shows your mind working in an enchanting way. Always fun to read your poems.

nice repeat poem...My grandson doing engineering at Uni. is building his own computer because normal ones don't have what he needs for his work. I thought he was brilliant but martin told me he went to a site where he can get all the parts and he puts it all together. of course he gets all his brains from his Granny....
