Re: Re: Re: CCT

BTW, I often have Californis golden raisins, and coconut, with either walnuts or almond butter, for breakfast on a bit of bread I make. Sugar....too much.

Win? Hah! I never win! I usually just watch others or play a tiny bit.

Re: Re: Ciel

Maybe he needs to find a 'good' fat, like canola (rape seed) which actually helps reduce cholesterol.  And actually, real butter is not as bad as has been thought for a while.

Revising happens.  I can't re-read many of my bits of this and that without trying to polish them up a little.

Re: Ciel

Arthur has gone healthy eating Ciel . He will not put sugar or fat in the scones so it takes me a long time to get through even a little one. Glad you like the poem, it is  job to write a fresh one each day so sometimes I cannibalize an oldie.

Re: shobana

I don't really feel like anything in the morning Shobana. I know one is supposed to have a hearty breakfast. Yes I like those raisins coated with chocolate. Mind they are fattening full of sugar.

I thought the poem tender too CC! Very Nice! and I love raisins in cookies too. Sometimes I eat them just straight out of the box and finish those Califonia raisins in a day! It is supposed to be good for health!

I make savory scones with cheese, broccoli, and ham or pepperoni if I can find the little tiny ones. They get eaten up before the cheese goes rancid. No meat is required, either, but could add other vegies.

Your poem is another delicate wisp of a dream.  I like it!

Re: Since the cheese and peanuts stay fresh for different lengths of time,

Well I suppose it is trial and error Pat . Your's sounds good I have some packets of dried blueberries that I don't care for. I have to approach the cook carefully he is repairing my best computer.

Re: CCT

Yes RP I like getting California ones, I haven't seen golden ones. Of course nothing tastes quite so nice without sugar and fat. Did you win?

I wonder how the snack will turn out...It is amazing how the passion can cool over time. That has always fascinated me. Very few, if anyone, are able to keep it going.

CCT

Such a sweet and gentle poem. Quite good. And the oakcake, wait for the new batch! Should be much better. I love California raisin; they are the only ones I eat. Golden ones in cookies are different and good. Had them in a foo-foo dessert eatery in Las Vegas!

Since the cheese and peanuts stay fresh for different lengths of time,

it seems this is an odd combo. However, having oatmeal cookies with chopped walnuts in them and dried blueberries, would be a superfood combination, as well as delicious.

Sounds like some messes I make trying to be creative in the kitchen.  Cheese and peanuts don't sound like a great combo to me.
