Interesting! Quite apart from the purely personal, there's quite bit of (inadvertant) 'social history' displayed here - 'changing times' and all...And I also like Victorias approach...

When I wrote some time back about my Oklahoma family, I could not have done that if my Muskogee grandma and my Dad had not told me so many stories of their own and stories that had been passed down to them from family.

I bet you didn't get away with much from Grandma Lucy. I wonder if she believed it or thought it was a good way to keep you on the straight and narrow.
