we have to put our trash into a heavy duty bag that denotes it as hazardous material. We put this down at the road inside the tightly lidded can. The bear or raccoons ! then secondly weekly we can put out recycling of plastic, cans and paper. separated into blue boxes.

Depends on the bag

I can only say that I agree with you, FSI.

But on the other hand, I would say: It depends on the bags.

I mean, some bags are just more like trash than the trash itself. If you put some trash into it, which has a bit of sharp corners or something like that, those trash-corners may cut a hole in the trash bag, and POOF, the trash is all over the place.

One has to pay 5p for a plastic bag at the counter,to save energy. Most now use bags unto oblivion. Archie has to put bags out being on the street run , he occasionally gives me a few spares which I turn inside out and stick in my wheelie bin when they are filled. I burn all letters or invoices for security purposes.
