No I have been off Taps. Could not bear to look at the computer. Does one good to have a break though. A lot of dust and pollen around, be careful.

Re: Kabu
As I said to Arthur not a ripe tomato in sight that cunning Archie is like a vulture after them. He does not know I am eating the greengages as fast as I can as he loves them for jam making.

Re: kasperhoe
Well Kasper she sometimes comes to me in a dream, but I keep visualizing her mother.
Nethertheless if you become desperate she has a younger sister who was adopted and loves Danish bacon..

Re: RPresta
You poor thing, I really think we should wear masks to stop breathing in future germs in crowded conditions.
I hope it was not that mysterious scent disguised to seduce you into accepting the bug.
Do take it easy, I don't think there is a quick cure, stock up on tissues and warm wishes.

Re: Pat
Thank you. Yes the Glads are a bit of fun, we seem to be having a run of mild winters so perhaps they will naturalize. Once I found a whole patch of four leafs but no young maidens.

Love the beautiful gladiola - mother used to raise them & people
would stop to admire her flowers. Green thumb for sure. (Green thumb is code for working your a$$ off to make 'em grow.) I love the last line of your poem... 4 leaf clover, indeed!

Beautiful Glad, there! Archie is pushing it right now, imho! You need to get well. He can care for the tomatoes for a while. Your poem was super! So creative and deeply intriguing. Nice. Well, I just got back from the doctor. Seems I have a sinus and bronchial infection. I needed Arthur's spray and wipes, I suppose! LOL!

Great writing
I really liked this one. And I couldn't help it. I'm still wondering of something: Who was that woman?
Perhaps, it's just because I'm in the "darkened study" now. But I wonder if getting to know her better could be fatal..?

Seems as though the heat has sped up your Libido ...be careful old chap...and if Archie wants tomatos let him do all the work. You have been really sick and I blame Archie bringing his flu cold around and expecting you to work.
