I gave up hunting many moons ago - I no longer wanted to take the life of another being. Bacteria have a life too, so now I leave them alone as well and let others do the scrubbing...

Yes Rpresta I hate dust, I have just bought a 100 pack of face masks as when I strim the grasses there are pollens and juices flying around. Thank you I feel like a rabbit refreshed at last and I did write some really awful poems when I could not bear to look at the computer. I did tell Kabu at the time ,so I can rib her a little. I suppose you can say '
'You are not so dusty.'

Hah! Yes, as I have often said, while everyone groans and rolls their eyes, had I wanted to become a housekeeper, I would have done so... LOL! There was a time I vacuumed everyday! I love a clean house. And yes, I have taken a toothbrush to the tile back in the day. I even vacuum the books on the bookshelves occasionally (there is a lot of dust blowing in here, a veritable Dust Bowl). However, and it's a big however, I do not do that often, perferring to have the "pros" do it occasionally. I am severely allergic to dust and mold, and get ill from deep cleaning. Honestly. So I hope you are doing better. Perhaps you had a secondary infection...

hey he's back and have passed on those germs it seems.
The only spot here that gets vacuumed weekly is where Graysome eats his yum yum treats in the living room. I don't dust any more The stuff sitting all around is taking on an older look! actually we get very little dust.

Yea! You're back! Whew! Those germs must have had a field day at your house. Arthur must not be thrilled. As to housework, or rather you poem, I quite enjoyed it. Housework, I find I have a bit if an allergy to it! LOL! Everything is neat and orderly but I like it when the cleaning ladies come and help out ...
