Are you okay, CCT? Haven't seen you posting for a few days. Getting worried.

I'm not sure if the virus's are getting worse or if we just feel it more because we're getting older? There seems to be so many contageous germs going around lately. Try Vicks on the bottom of your feet when you go to bed - it worked for me. Wistful poem - really am awed with your way with words.

Re: Presta

Hey, I'm with Arthur! I'll probably even spray the computer now so I don't catch that germ! My scientist father once righteously embarrassed me as a child when the family went out to dinner. The waitress (now called 'server') brought his coffee to him holding the cup from the top, from where one sips! He told her to get him another cup of coffee, and why! Three little children nearly slunk under the table. LOL! My mother was unfazed; she was the same way in a restaurant. Oh yeahhh...fun and games with Mom and Dad. LOL!Do hope you feel better.

Re: Re: Re: Presta

Well I have tried lemon juice and honey. Whiskey which I do not care for much. The gipsies used to eat vick on bread and butter. So in the end I told Archie to get me some cough syrup and for good measure I asked my Sister to get a bottle. Oh! I have also rubbed vick on my nose. Poor Arthur he is like the condemned man waiting for the inevitable. Archie  keeps saying you did not catch  it from me. Don't get too near this reply.

With those plants around and in avoiding c. syrups, you'll get better soon, I hope.

Re: Re: CCT

Hope you are doing better. Oh boy, I'm in Arthur's camp with that suggestion. I never take cough medicine. It masks the symptoms and upsets the stomach. His idea is much better, imo! LOL.

Re: RPresta

Arthur said it is no use taking cough medicine.  He brought me honey and some lemon juice and suggested I used some whiskey, an unused Christmas pressie. Thank you.

Not, of course, a computer virus...

Raspy throat, leaky nose, sour attitude (that's me today. Summer sniffles)

I do hope you get to feeling better soon. Those plants can do that, for sure.  The poem is nice to read, also.
