Re: Excellently done; I found this to be a reminder of hope against the odds
Thanks Katray for your kind words, and I'm glad you find the write, good. It is strengthening when one finds hope against all odds.

Re: Re: Re: Aba
Many thanks Presta, my friend. I'll give Nietzsche a try, if I can.

Re: Re: Aba
Yes, I enjoy reading them. Nietzsche, is quite interesting in and of himself. Much food for thought there.

Re: Kabu dearest
Wasn't that such a lovely comment? In India, goddesses are all females, Durga, the epitome of Shakti, Energy, as saviour from all misfortunes; Kali, the slayer of all demons; Laxmi, the goddess of wealth and fortune, Saraswati, the goddess of learning and wisdom. Women, I feel, are placed between man and God.

Re: Aba
I am glad you like my posts. Philosophers do give us food for thought, and quite a number of them, surprisingly, have had to go to mental asylums. Nietzsche, for example, said "I am standing a thousand miles above time". So Rene being poisoned could be a possibility.

Re: FSI
Doing a whole blog yes, but then I'll be in danger of being thrown out.
Thanks all the same.

Aba
Such an interesting post! Well-written, and one must admire Descartes. Christina and thoughts of her behaviors have intruded to the point I can only wonder why, and feel sorry for Rene having had to deal with her. And then there are those who think he may have been poisoned, I read. A sad loss, either way. And a good and intriguing write, Aba.

what a thoughtless spoiled unfeeling uncaring witch. The World was poorer for his loss.
I believe that I agree with every word here except that I feel sure that God is female. it is the female that creates and God, God created everything, and she has a sense of humor. How she laughs at mans petty Patriarchal bullying of her women.

He was a very fascinating philosopher. One could do a whole blog on him.
