Some part of me thinks some things are not supposed to change,
and school is supposed to start after Labor Day! Now, a month earlier, and kids are off to school already. That part of me can't make sense of it.

No school used to be a pain at times it gradually improved, now it just seems like a young university. A long way from the slate board . Good blog Taps.

A great post and I went back to school for my 'Secondary School Diploma' at age 55 and then did 1 year of University in Psychology at York University.

I don't think I ever enjoyed going back to school except that boarding school was full of great friends to spend time with. I cannot think of one decent teacher.
Son#2 had a decent time at school but Son #1 was picked on and bullied. I was always storming into the head masters room!
of course right now they are in the thick of the year and Miki is heading towards her year 12 exams and thinking about University next year. No her nan is not looking forward to that.

And re your comment: the only reason I haven't called 'that guy' an idiot is that I decided a while ago I wasn't going to write anything about the U.S. election circus, LOL...But if I had, I'm sure no one would have batted an eye...And of course I completely agree with you about that LOL business, LOL...
