This argument seems to assume that it is a good thing to "reject violence for any reason". That is the faulty basis of pacifism. There are good and vital reasons for violence, if it stops predators in the act or planning of their own evil violence. What would you do, if a man breaks into your house and starts beating or torturing a loved one right in front of you? If you do not use violence to stop him, then you are shirking your own moral duty. That duty includes having prepared for such an attack beforehand, and having the means to stop him, whether it be a gun, a baseball bat, or some other tool of force.
This scenario plays out continuously in the world, between countries and religions, as well as between people. The violent Muslims must be countered with violence, to stop their active destruction of innocent victims. They are the current best example of this. The non-violent Muslims have a moral duty to actively resist their violent co-religionists, not just to denounce them and perhaps shed a tear or two.

My response is to try to not react to political posts anymore and instead focus that energy and drive into writing my own News/Pol. blog. Need some clear minded time to delve into research about extremism and terrorism, not just in current day events but looking back a few decades.
I hope to reveal a broad range of information and facts and viewpoints from a variety of scholarly sources, because I really want to understand why the Muslims I know in person and those I have discussed issues with on-line are sane, peaceful and productive people who make it known that they reject violence for any reason. I do not see how or why they would lie; they're busy with careers, family and charitable work - where is the time for a secret life or the evidence of underlying, hidden violent impulses based on Islam in these people - it's just not there. My endeavor will take some devoted time and effort obviously, but I am going to try.
Anyway, thanks for responding to my comments.
