Ignore my prev. comment as being off point as a response to your
post on censorship. The questions I have are who is censoring and why. I believe the news organizations are owned by corporate entities who don't allow (at least in the US) the government to restrict their freedom to print or broadcast the facts.

On the other hand, there are people who just blurt out any fleeting
thought that comes into their head, blurt out their own unfounded fears and suspicions and set off a chain of violent responses and escalation. Sometimes we can corral our rhetoric, use a thoughtful question rather than a confrontational assertion, and get people to consider rather than react... Soft answer to turn away wrath, that old concept.

I was wondering the same thing about Field myself. Sounds like there are at least two realities going on here. Tragedies or massacres, we still mourn collectively.

I wonder if the American media is going to start doing that.
One would think with what happened to Charlie Hebdo that the French media would have in the long run reacted differently.

I think that France and germany are floundering in a myre they hoped wouldn't happen if they just slept. but France has always hoped that they would be alright and if not someone else would save them.
