These are interesting times, indeed. What strikes me the most is that those Benie supporters idolize an ethnic Jew.

You are listening to very liberal news. That is the craziest convention I have ever seen. I am like you I am totally for Israel and we better not elect Hillary Clinton or we will not need to look for ISIS they will be here all over the place. She is the white female Obama Fox is the only news in the States that is worth listening to at any time. All the others are bought off by the progressives.

They were probably the same agitators that were at the GOP rally. Yes I have met professional protesters back in Australia. They can make a living by being disruptive at political or civil situations and then others join in who probably wouldn't know how to start a protest.

I've always admired what the Israelis have accomplished in the Middle East
but the basis of the origins of the state of Israel is tainted by the high-handed interference of the British and other powers of that day in the affairs of Turkey and the Arab peoples. The redivision of boundaries at that time paid less attention to actual cultural or natural geographic boundaries than to the interests of the various European powers divvying up spoils.
I also have a problem with Israel, on the basis of its superiority in many areas feels that it can simply push aside the Arab peoples who are less accomplished, are arguably less sophisticated as a tribal people in a 'civilized' world.
I put 'civilized' in quotes because, in essence, Israel has connections with the civil world, but remains in attitude a tribal people. And in this increasingly volatile world, that tribal attitude is dangerous and counter-productive, and like sibling rivalry carried to extremes, means a never-ending spiralling downward away from civil thought and action.

Good question - but my impression was those protesters outside the
Wells Fargo center were non-delegates or participants in the convention... In any case it's crazy.
