Naut

This makes me so angry. You can not make a two state agreement. Jerusalem is the City of God and this territory was given to the Jews three thousand years ago. Jews are the most accomplished people on the planet. They are not aggressive toward any other peoples. I find the democrat party to be totally un-American. They need to leave Israel along.

I have a feeling that he meant exactly what he said and apologized to stop the heat that he was starting to feel. It makes one wonder how many others feel the same way as he within the Democratic Party.

Correction.......

Actually,  instead of termites,  the Palestinians have a rabbit that will eat up all of the Jews,  so that their land can be liberated and given to the Palestinians.......

Johnson's apology is an irrrelevant distraction

Johnson is a liberal pacifist fool.  Even his apology indicates that he is on the wrong side.  Concerning the Palistinians,  there is no  "two-state solution"  that will work.  The Palistinians are hard-core Muslims,  mostly Jihadists,  committed to the destruction of Israel.  The truth is,  the Palistinians are the termites,  trying to eat away the Jewish country of Israel.

Doesn't make it any better, but it is at least something:

Press Release July 26, 2016

"Congressman Hank Johnson clarified and apologized today regarding his remarks about the Israeli settlement enterprise during a panel held outside the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia:

“We must work to promote policies that support a two-state solution and encourage trust between both sides,” said Congressman Johnson. The congressman regrets his comments. He did not intend to insult or speak derogatorily of Israelis or the Jewish people. When using the metaphor of termites, the Congressman was referring to the corrosive process, not the people.  “Poor choice of words – I meant no offense. The point is settlement activity has slowly and deliberately undermined Palestinian land claims.”

I find this difficult to believe. Will check it for myself from a less biased news base if I ever stop feeling so tired.

Nautikos

I wish there was a link here so that I could hear Johnson say it. Outrageous!
