But again, as annicita mentioned, it could be done for charity. A few weeks ago, I read about a young girl who did one of those charity things. She didn't donate all her hair, though. But some people do, and maybe that's what happened to her hair.
Did you ask her? :-)

Maybe she donated her shaved locks to one of those charities for cancer victims who lost all their hair. Some don't want others to know about it.

I didn't even ask because her life is Theatre / Painter / Writer / Musician / Freelance Artist and I assumed it was something to support that. You might be interested to know that she is 6'3" tall and wears 4" heels anyway. She loves life and everyone loves her.

I don't imagine she'd have done that without knowing that her new employer would be okay with it. What kind of job is it? If it's theater or the arts, she's fine!

She is a beauty, hair or no hair. Sounds like she is her own woman, and has no fear of making a statement! I expect in the future, there may be more 'statements' she makes. What's hair? It's what is inside that counts. I remember my brother shaving his hair into a Mohawk loooong ago, and I mean loooong ago! He later shaved that off and returned to 'normal.'

She has a great collection of beautiful scarves and often would wind them around her hair. I can see her using the scarves even more now.

Hm' I like hair but I suppose with a hat she might look not much different. I suppose we get used to the way folk look, I wonder if she shed a tear when she first looked in the mirror.

It seems like with St. Baldrick events, where people shave their heads, and other similiar events, that is becoming more and more common. I am sure that she will do very well with the job.

Not everyone can do that and still be beautiful as what this lovely girl is.
A step Granddaughter had her hair cut off for raising money for Cancer research but they didn't shave it.
Take care of you darling. I have that book ready to post but am focused on Wiley john just at present.

She's a gorgeous young woman, and a standout with or without the
"crowning glory" of long, beautiful hair. The new employer no doubt hired her for what's inside that pretty little head, let's just expect all will go well.

It looks really good on her! Many young girls are doing it today - kind of a fad - because they can. A little spurt of 'I'm my own person and want people to know it'. Not all of them look as lovely as she does with it.
