I don't have to tell you how much I love your pictures, TAPS. My love for winter is public, much to the bewildered expressions of many. And I'm with Kabu; I will be wanting my Christmas posts from TAPS.

I was thinking this morning since we have had a very hot summer if we will get a very cold winter. I like the cold winters

I suppose we always yearn for things we cannot have Taps. Today here has been heavily overcast but warm, I love it like this one still has to water the garden, but it is not so tiring as the glaring sunshine,it does seem so much harsher than it once did.

As an inveterate lover of summer and all its joys, I will tell you: It's only because they're those of my dear TAPS that I looked at pictures of ice and snow, beautiful though may be, and read the words that talk of winter's cold at this wonderful time, in the fullness of summer - if they had been anyone else 's, I would have moved on quickly - click...
