I hate the heat and its been hot for longer than I want to think. Anything past 80 is way too hot for me and I have had more than one heat stroke and my ac had been out longer than I want to remember. Its actually a swamp cooler and as you know its working once again and I am not chained to my couch any longer

Someone on CBS news said 160 million of us are dealing with this
killer heat. I always did like mornings - get to the store early before the mamas with their screaming demanding tantrum-throwers arrive and take a list to make sure nothing essential is forgotten... But it would be nice to have the option of taking a walk in the afternoon... Stay cool!

So sorry that you're suffering in the heat! I am fortunate that I don't - but Bennie does, and when I take him to the park (a daily event) he still brings his ball, but never drops it - his usual invitation to play...Oh, and avocadoes are good in any kind of weather, LOL...

It looks like that heat is going to make its way to Maryland. I imagine a lot of people are going to be staying in as well.

from here the Gazebo looks cool and tempting, but then so does out doors here but it is very very hot. Colf water and stay inside is what's best at present.
