When Bandit did that, I had introduced the stray, Tom, into the house. I was worried that Bandit was miffed and wouldn't come back at all. Someone told me to put his litter box outside at the door so that he would know it was HIS home. I don't know if that is the truth - but I did - and it he showed up the next night. So happy Ember did too. The thought of a lost pet tears me up.

Since I didn't read the last post until I read this one, I was not worried about Embers. So it is all good news for me. I especially like the stage appointment for Boulder. I've always loved the Boulder area and the mountains up behind it. I hope that fire they had up there didn't do too much damage. I love the golden aspens there in the fall and the Flat Iron Mts year round..
