Had the mold issue at the other house. Required removal and replacement of parts of walls and ceiling, and the kitchen was dismantled for a couple of months and re-assembled. Had to have the problem (stemming from a pinhole leak) professionally remediated and signed off. It was a difficult, but not life-shattering experience. Good that you fixed the problem.

One does not want water in the house. We had water in the basement the other year and it was so awful.
