I find your entries about Islam and the West to be very interesting. The West is at a critical juncture in its history as a result about Islam, and I want to learn everything I can about how deep the problems are that Islam is causing the West, what our politicians are doing/not doing about it, what our media is doing/not doing about it and what can be done to solve the problem of Islam.

The amount of writing time that of which you put towards Islam is no different than any of us. We all have topics that we routinely write about whether it be politics, work, life at home, family, poetry, fiction, etc.

As far as how we should "respect the office of the presidency," I do not buy into that. Recent presidents have damaged the reputation.

How many people died as a result of Lyndon Johnson's decisions? Look at Richard Nixon and Watergate. I do not put Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter as being reasons for presidency's reputation having been damaged. They were high character men who were simply not equipped to lead. Regan put us into crippling debt. I do like George H.W. Bush. Bill Clinton is the opposite of Carter/Ford in that he is a low character person who was a good leader, although certainly his personal life hurt the presidency's reputation.

One could write a book about the ills of Bush and Obama. I will simply call them BushBama together because I see a lot of similarities. Overreaching executive orders. Wars. Increasing the debt.

Now onto Obama's Legacy Deal. The more I read about it, the less I like about it.

Thanks, Nautikos.....

.....  for shining a light upon darkness.  Liberal stupidity must be exposed,  whether is it American,  Canadian,  or any other nationality.  Our friend Kabu seems to be tired of you doing it,  and is engaging in that popular liberal sport of killing the messenger,  or otherwise abusing the messenger,  instead of addressing the vital information that the messenger is bringing.  I have many arrows in my back from such attacks,  so I know of what I speak.

So again,  I thank you for being persistent and steadfast in bringing us vital news and commentary about the alarming progress of stupid liberals and evil predators in our world.  I think you are doing a better job than the major networks on TV.    Full speed ahead,  and damn the torpedos!!!

Re: Re: Re: Kabu, dear...

Oh, you're worried about my mind? And about these long diatribes on the same subject? Oh boy - you're right - it did slip my mind that I've been going on and on about this subject - the Iran deal! Damn! How long have I been talking about that now? A week, or maybe even two? I just forget...Where are my pills?

And here I was thinking I was just presenting a few facts for the first time - about the addendum that was supposed to be secret but no longer is now and the implications - and the other guy did most of the talking anyway! But I do understand  if I go on and on about that, day after day, there's got to be something wrong. And of course, since some of this may be a bit hard to comprehend, I will answer questions! Just remind me again if my answers get too long...

Re: Re: Kabu, dear...

Actually it is your mind that I am worried about because these long diatribes on the same subject are of concern to someone who cannot stop being a nurse. Maybe a  visit from the broom would be a big help.

Oh my! If the Americain people had the same mind-set as Iranian's seem to have about their neighbor, with those kind of conditions signed, I would NOT be happy. I can feel Israel's dilema!

I'm glad that you, for one, are amused.  I find nothing amusing about this matter.  I hope this subject was not the ONLY reason Justi came back to Blogit.  She is a precious person with so many other attributes and gifts other that shooting guns.

Naut

George and I keep up with the news from multiple internet sources around the world. I know of this and I am glad you write about them. We need to look in the face of the issues and get new blood in the house. Obama is Muslim for sure. He even took a Muslim name. Hillary Clinton is totally corrupt in every respect. I hope they do not declare marshal law and take our guns because the government has bought up most of the amunition and arms. Donald Trump will do somethng if he can get there. The world is so very unstable right now. America is the thin thread holding much of this together only because the householders have guns.

Re: Kabu, dear...

Thanks for your concern, but I can assure you - I'm fine! I haven't even had the sniffles in quite a while! I may not do any gardening, but I get a lot of exercise, even apart from my long walks with Bennie! And my scale almost smiles at me when I step on it in the mornings - it's happy that it doesn't have to work very hard!

About my 'ramblings' - well, I admit they tend to be a bit longer than is the norm around here, because there is a lot to be said! Actually, I'm just scratching the surface, as it were - these are just illustrative snippets, LOL...But hey, I realize that many people would rather not think about this stuff because it spoils their mood. Maybe I'm just fortunate that my mood is not affected by it...

Well we have been good friends for years dear Naut. but No, for me, your Political  ramblings actually worry me about your state of health rather than interest me. It has become sort of obsessive and of course way way way too many words.
