Re: I cannot remember my last cuppa tea,

I think iced tea is horrible Pat. Of course tea helped control disease originally as it made folk boil the water a main source of infection in large communities.

Re: RPresta

Yes and RP they drank it and thought it was normal. They  were true events RP, but honestly I wonder, now I remember, sentiment, not a good way to approach anyone romantically.

Re: anibanerjee

No I on the list tasted like rank pee.

No2 tasted like boiled socks and stale beer.

No 3 as far as I can remember like weak tobacco juice

They are all unresponsive now, it's life.

Re:Naut

Strangely everything on this blog was true Naut, but there is history which I did not mention.

Re: Kabu

I don't think I could drink it now, although coffee seems to be in vogue one can get a free cup in the Supermarket, but I have never tried to drink one wandering around shopping.

Strangely, I too had my worst cups of tea in England - on several occasions! Some people insist on boiling their tea to death....

And your poetic description of that encounter in the High Street is masterful...

I myself am not a tea drinker. I do not like the taste of it...A lot of people do think about how others will perceive them.

Hello CCT

An odd series of 'awful' imageries and I was looking forward to as to how the tea tasted? All the same, I think very enjoyable ? And yes, whywSte time on nresponsive women?

A good cup of tea is nice occasionally. What you describe is bloody awful, as they say! And your poem, quite interesting. Some women are unapproachable, as are some men. It's always uncomfortable in situations like that. I liked the '...unlit flames are hard to handle...' Deep.

I cannot remember my last cuppa tea,

although I do remember liking the Earl Grey with honey. They sell "iced" tea in bottles like soda pop these days. Seems so lazy to buy bottled tea at that price when we can brew a quart for practically zero pennies and keep it in the fridge.

Tea for two, and two for tea...

sounds bloody 'orrible the stewed brews, they threw at you.
