                That is good,  but in Canada,  such reasonable force will not likely include a gun.  You gun restrictions are pretty severe,  I think.  Better keep a baseball bat handy,  LOL.  Not to disparage bats,  no indeed,  I would rather have a bat than anything else,  if I didn't have a gun.

                In Canada we don't have a 'castle doctrine' as such, but we are allowed to use 'reasonable and necessary' force to resist entry to someone with felonious intent...

                It will be interesting to see what, if anything, develops from this case. The Castle Doctrine does make sense to me.
