My plan is to prepare the way... get a house with guestrooms for Charlie when he gets that dream-job with Weta, for whoever else would rather Christmas fell in summer.

I'm looking at places in New Zealand, actually. First, rental then purchase, though it depends some on getting a live-there visa.

I hope a few USA buyers come to the fore . Confidence is the key, house prices can fall even if no one can afford to buy them. Memory is short. It does want a bit of a booster for the North. Perhaps someone could encourage the Chinese tourists.
