RePat
Yes one reads so much conflicting so called evidence these days Pat. Yes I guess when over 25 one wonders what mistakes one has made.

I have rolled oats with grated coconut and blueberries for breakfast, moistened with cold water! It's healthy and above all quick, LOL...And I like the poem...

Pecans are also very nice in all sorts of things! Dried apple bits might be good, too.

I like walnuts and blueberries in my oatmeal... (also cookies)
I understand they are both "superfoods" and as nutritious as they are tasty... As for love and attraction, it's easy when one is young and the brain isn't completely finished developing (up to age 25 or so) but after than, it's so complicated.

Re: Rpresta
Yes I used to try not to look into an attractive woman's eyes. Something seemed to send messages that you might like to explain. I actually have a bowl of walnuts we have a tree near and the nuts fall on the road outside Arthur's house. He would just sweep them onto the side, last year I collected a bag full. I still have them, my excuse is I cannot find a nut cracker, I am sure I must have a few around. I think the nuts he is using come from China.

Re: Kabu
Arthur is such a funny critter, I keep suggesting things but he just looks thoughtful.
I don't really mind what it is if it is edible. I bought some different bags of nuts today, I'll have to wait and see what develops. Beggars can't be choosers.

A lot of people who make different food concoctions do love to try different things. The art of it all, I guess...A poem that really hits upon the emotions.

Enjoyed the poem and the narrative. You might also try walnuts as they are high in omega 3 fatty acids, quite good for you. Toast them in a skillet and some of the bitter skin comes off, improving the flavor in the oat cakes. Golden raisins or dried currents might work also. And of course, a bit of coconut for a quick shot of mental acuity! Lol. As for the poem, what is it that stirs the first interest, different for all but I'd say it's something in the eyes...
...perhaps a soul.

Try almonds finely chopped or flaked. Almonds are very nutritious and non fattening.
