I finally got through to Microsoft and had them remove all the hardware for Windows 10 they kept trying to force into my computer.

You poor thing. I hate being home when anyone comes to work on anything at all. I never know what to do with myself.

I don't know what you had - but my computer guy told me I could switch back to my old 8.1 within 30 days - and I did, and I'm glad I did! That's my laptop - on my PC I still have 7, which is even better...

Some folk have a cleaner every week and mine is a real misery complaining before he opens the door, I keep saying every fortnight is sufficient but no either one or two arrive and the female says her ambition is to tidy my bedroom. I keep it locked.

I suppose you should have gone out for the day...I have the giggles I am sorry but I can just see you with your teeth clenched wandering around such an invasion. The good news is that you will survive it all and the house will be boosiful and clean.
