Re: Re: CCT

Well, beautiful snails but an ugly neighbor! And before anyone one gets on my case for saying that, this guy was ugly on the inside; mean to the core.

Re: CCT

I don't mind the rain Naut, saves an hour or two watering each day. I think my trips are curtailed for a while I could have bought a nice car last week, but it looks like I can just afford a walking stick this morning, Small investors piled into Banks and Builders Friday never try to catch a falling knife,

CCT

Sounds like you're having a wet and dreary June - take a trip and enjoy our famously glorious Southern Ontario summer! But your poem is charming...

It's a strange time here on planet earth, too much rain in one place,

destruction by flood, and none whatsoever in another, destruction by fire. If this keeps up there'll be nothing left for the bugs.

OMG! I absolutely love the last line. Great poem. I have no slug story, but I have a snail story. You inspire us! LOL!

Especially love the ending.
I have a slug story that is far out.  I will have to post it.  It is awful--makes me shiver.

Unless she enjoys the task, I'd suggest the beer trap to her. The slugs get rid of themselves, and I suppose they die happily confused.

Sometimes a new experience engenders new words, especially to a poet.
