I enjoy plays. My favorite up to date is 'Evita', but I haven't seen many. On my bucket list, sigh. It's so kool that Charlie is loving what he is doing.

Re: FormerStudentIntern.

You will find that it is also the name of a piece of music by Shubert that the play is named for.

I have never heard of Death and the Maiden. I ought to check it out if I can.

How fun to make fake food, LOL.  I can remember the day when the Red Lobster restaurant had fake desserts on a tray.  They would bring them out for the last course to show you what each dessert looked like.  It was funny because they didn't look very real.

Re: CCT,

Oh, the fake food is rescued at the end of the show and will be used for the next three weekends, assuming no one accidently eats it.

No, she doesn't seem to mind, though she does respond instantly to the name she came with. I will use them together for a while, then phase out 'Abby.'

A pity to throw the fake food away it might come in handy again one day.

I would not think the would mind the name change, I expect it would soon adjust.

Re: Kabu,

I have shifted the tv and a comfy chair downstairs, and when it gets hot I will carry this device down to the cool, as well. It's ~10 to 15 degrees cooler 'below stairs.'

Re: Pat,

Yes, that's the same play. I haven't seen that movie, but I know Sigourney Weaver can play crazy like crazy!

Well done Charlie for his fake food props and so glad the play is a success.  Enjoy a quiet day with you animal family.

Ember is a great name for a cat...especially as you describe that one.

I seem to remember a film "Death and the Maiden" with Sigourney Weaver - if it's the same thing, scary as hell. I hope the director feels like doing another one now... Congrats to Charlie on his ability to make fake food out of "nothing."
