I meant to say I wish them well, but that part of my train of thought
went off track before I got to the end of the line... So, the little caboose has printed on it the words "Good Luck, England."

This man's argument makes sense to me. Not that I'm all up in
their bidniss, only just learned within the past week or so what Brexit means... Life itself is a chancy proposition, and the British Empire has been through any number of skin-of-your-teeth events ever since 1066, not the least of which was the settlement of North America and its subsequent ingratitude.
