I have never canned anything, so that part of the process is new to me and a little intimidating. Maybe they can be refridgerator pickles...?

You can find it online pretty easily, actually.  There are several different brands, though, and I have a hard time choosing... I guess some part of me thinks I can only ever have one.

I used to have the equipment it would take to do this, but no longer.

I remember mama's dill pickles, cucumbers and dill right out of our garden.

Goodness , I bet it is tasty, I keep trying different small jars of condiments, if I ever see that I will certainly give it a try.
