Re: Re: Kabu

I don't think everyone needs to eat breakfast...kids going to school do ...I just need black coffee so I don't bite the nose off Wiley and the cat.

Re:BC _

I guess the sun has got his hat on. A dripping June puts things in tune.

ReRPresta

Eek! I have a packet of Bounty bar drink, I don't know if I like it or not really. I do prefer tea no sugar but sometimes with full cream goats milk. I couldn't tackle Arhur's  pudding cake this morning, he did remark on it ,but I said I would have it tomorow. I have put my cornflakes out for the birds, but they are ignoring them, perhaps they know something that I do not.

Re: C_C_T

No, coconut creams would make one have the scent of being at the beach all day, as in some suntan lotions! If Arthur doesn't feel like whacking open a coconut, he could always buy coconut flakes (full of sugar and really good), so that would be out, or coconut milk, or coconut water. I even have coconut coffee creamer for mornings...don't know how that would be in tea though.

Re: Kabu

Yes but you see Kabu it saves me the trouble of washing a bowl after corn flakes and cold milk. Arthur says this turns to sugar. Everyone says one must eat breakfast but Arthur said that is a myth. Please myth be kind.

Re: RPresta

I would not mind coconut I don't know if he would buy a real one though. So that's your secret, well I did buy some coconut cream at one time as it was very reduced, I think one was supposed to rub it somewhere but I didn't like the smell of it somehow as a skin

softener, I think water suits better .

I eat somewhat like Arthur, I am a bit embarassed to admit. Grew up like that somewhat. I love breakfast. Tell Arthur coconut has an enzyme that goes right to the brain for improved cognitive functioning. That should keep him busy researching for a while! LOL! But wait, he will probably add that to his potion for you. Hmmm... Your poem was highly creative to read; perhaps Arthur snuck some coconut into your breakfast.

I don't ever eat before 10.00m sometimes not till much later. don't like breakfast, and Arthur's stuff sounds revolting.

CCT

I like Arthur's breakfast - it has similarities with my own! You might do well to adopt something like that istead of your normal gunk, LOL...And I also like the poem...

All the foods you mentioned as part of the breakfast pattie

are being proclaimed "superfoods" by the nutritional specialists on TV these days, the eggs, steel cut oats, nuts, etc., all turn to energy in the body, whereas potatoes and most dried cereals become blood sugar. Apparently sugar spikes are bad for your pancreas or whatever it is that makes insulin...

I loved that post.  And, of course, the poem was good in its own right (or is that write?).
